Paper cutting has often been associated with child’s play, but one artist brings this art form to a brazen new level. British artist Rob Ryan melts clear cut visuals of whimsical illustrations, intricate silhouetted designs and eloquently poetic texts into one: his delicately-cut paper artworks. Rob’s artwork tells a story that goes beyond sharing his richly imaginative vision to reach the audience’s hearts to dream.

‘Never has a pair of scissors been so masterful,’ complemented actress Helena Bonham Carter and director Tim Burton, who are both collectors of his work. ‘Rob Ryan cuts out dreams and stories and worlds that enchant us and remind us of the first movie makers.’
