.Brazen: Red Hot Redheads
The Red Hot is a result of Knights’ year-long photography project challenging the stigmas attached to ginger man in the UK. Supported by the Anti-Bullying Alliance the photographer, a redhead himself, proves that the perception of red-haired man as ugly and weak is misleading and men of every hair-colour can be equally good-looking, masculine and interesting. The men showcased at Thomas Knights’ exhibition are proud of the way they look and help viewers realise how, in the 21st century, people are sometimes still ruled by the misleading stereotypes.
Red Hot takes place at the Gallery in Redchurch Street between the 16th until the 22nd December. For more information visit the Gallery’s website.
The Anti-Bullying week 2013 takes place 18-22 November. For more information on how you can get involved and the Anti-Bullying Alliance visit its website.
