Juxtaposed; Well Does It?

Does Garcinia Cambogia Really Help You Burn Fat?  There are a ton of weight loss supplements out there. Some work and some are just hype. The question we are going to answer today is whether garcinia cambogia can help you burn fat?  Fat burners are the Holy Grail for anyone hoping to lose fat without putting in the hard work. Since excess weight is made up of fat cells, it makes sense that any product which can block your body’s ability to turn food into fat is a good thing. And if it suppresses your appetite at the same time? Even better!

So what is Garcinia Cambogia? Garcinia cambogia is a plant native to Southeast Asia. The fruit of the garcinia cambogia plant has lots of medicinal properties, but for weight loss purposes, Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) is the key ingredient.

So how  does it work? HCA extracted from garcinia cambogia has been proven to be effective in weight loss. Proponents of garcinia cambogia claim that the active ingredient, HCA, inhibits citrate lyase, an ingredient needed for fat production. Laboratory studies on mice showed that mice given garcinia cambogia had lower insulin levels than mice in the control group. This indicates that the HCA in garcinia cambogia helps the body burn up sugar more efficiently. This will, in turn, reduce your blood glucose levels as a side effect, which is useful for people with Type 2 diabetes.

Does Garcinia Cambogia Work? If you take garcinia cambogia supplements, your body can’t produce fat from any carbohydrates in your diet and you will, therefore, lose weight.  You should also notice a reduction in your bad cholesterol levels. However, whilst garcinia cambogia clearly has some weight loss benefits, not all garcinia cambogia supplements are equal.

Quality Issues; Independent analysis by Labdoor of leading brands of garcinia cambogia supplements has shown that quality control is variable. Manufacturers often make outrageous claims of how much active ingredient their supplement contains, which is invariably at odds of what the supplement actually contains when tested in the laboratory.

Look at the Variable Research Results; People take garcinia cambogia supplements to help them burn fat. However, although garcinia cambogia has fat burning properties, success in animal studies has not translated into success in humans. Controlled weight loss studies on overweight women who were given garcinia cambogia have failed to produce conclusive results. However, although studies have been generally inconclusive, sample sizes have typically been small and studies short-term. It may be that for garcinia cambogia to work effectively, it needs to be taken in the long-term, in conjunction with a calorie controlled diet and an exercise regime. If you do decide to give garcinia cambogia supplements a try, consult your doctor first. Garcinia cambogia should not be used if you are pregnant or have liver or kidney problems. It can also react badly with other medications, in particular, asthma and allergy medication. Finally, read some reviews of individual garcinia cambogia brands before you buy, as the level of active ingredient varies considerably across all leading brands.
