Women for Women International are a charity with over 20 years’ experience, aimed at uplifting and aiding ‘excluded women’ in society who have been affected by war. They have previously supported women with war-torn backgrounds from all over the world including, Afghanistan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Democratic republic of Congo, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan and Northern Iraq, whilst recently paying closer attention to women in difficult circumstances in the Iraqi-Syrian conflict. The charity also offers the chance for people to get involved and sponsor a woman through a year long programme, in order to ‘change the world one woman at a time.’ This event is aiming to bring together lovers of art, in order to raise awareness to such an important and life changing charity for women.
