Foundation Cartier pour l’art contemporain unveils a new exhibition this April featuring the works of artist Ron Mueck. Mueck’s sculptures are a strikingly lifelike representation of human form on the surface and examines the metaphysicality of being – the relationship between the body and existence – in a manner that reflects an uncanny realism. Mysterious and meditative, eerie yet real.

Photographer Gautier Deblonde has documented the creation of these pieces in a new film, unveiling the way the solitary artist works, in particular displaying the sensibility and strength of his sculptures, stimulating reflections, thoughts and conversations over the times and way we live in.
