With the recent ‘Times up’ movement and the female takeover of high profile events such as the Academy Awards, all eyes seem to be upon the women of the world.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, British jewellery brand Tatty Devine has collaborated with the brains behind Poppy’s Papercuts; Poppy Chancellor to create an exclusive collection to celebrate female empowerment.
The collection is inspired by a group of six women, taking references from interviews with each one, Poppy has designed contemporary pieces that are individual to each one. All the individual pieces reimagined in Tatty’s unmistakeable style of bold and colourful acrylic statement jewellery. As an official partner of the WOW (Women of The World) festival taking place at Southbank this year, each piece of quirky jewellery is aimed at empowering the women of today to do whatever it is that makes them happy. Whether that means fighting social norms to become a ballet dancer, building your own street wear label or even just roller skating in heels.
The collection will be available to buy at: www.tattydevine.com, as well as in their stores at Convent Garden and Brick Lane. You can also purchase the collection from The Royal Festival Hall shop and on The Southbank Centre online shop.
