SKIN: Knit, Swim, Wear, Skin

By Leah Sinclair

Material and skin are a combination which goes hand in hand. From cosy knitwear which bundles around us during the winter, to perfectly moulded swimwear which sticks and moves perfectly against our bodies. This will be explored at The Fashion and Textile Museum, in the form of two retrospective exhibitions exploring the power and influence of knitwear and swimwear in fashion and on the body.
