They say there is nothing, a good red lipstick can’t get you through.

As we are all becoming conscious consumers, it is time we consider what is not just good for us but also for things around us, especially animals.

The Vegan cosmetic industry has seen an incredible growth over the last few years and brands like KVD have been one of the pioneers in the world of creating vegan high fashion make-up.

After her successful hit spin-off reality TV series -La Link, Kat Von D launched her beauty line in 2008. Combining her passion for tattoos, art and beauty, KVD as brand redefined the high-fashion cosmetic market with its innovations.

The company uses plant-based derivatives to replace animal ingredients in their cosmetics. With more than 250 products in every category, the brand in 2016 reformulated their entire line and made it 100% vegan.

Although Kat Von D stepped down from the business this January, the brand that now stands for Kindness, Vegan Beauty+ Discovery continues to carry on her legacy.

Good news for us, we can now purchase all of KDV goodness in select Boot’s stores and online from March 25, nationwide.

An exclusive launch set for Boot’s called ‘The Vegan Beloved Bestsellers’ kit will also be available and will include some of the brands most iconic products like the Mini Tattoo Liner and the Go Big or Go Home Mascara.

Big beauty brands now switching to vegan and cruelty-free beauty to promote a conscious lifestyle choice. So if you are looking to make a switch, here is where you can start.
