Want to spruce up your Friday night drinks? Below you can explore two upcoming and exciting events, designed to allow your tastebuds to experience a myriad of exotic and luxurious flavours.
Grosvenor Square restaurant, 34 Mayfair, has partnered with renowned perfumery, The House of Creed, in order to create a limited edition cocktail inspired by their much loved ‘Virgin Island Water’ fragrance. Whilst summer might nearly be over, this cocktail will give your senses one last opportunity to experience that holiday feeling.
The Virgin Island Paradise cocktail (£14) is comprised from an exotic blend of Yaguara Cachaca, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, coconut water, jasmine tea, mandarin, lime and ylang ylang essence. It can be enjoyed alongside the White Bay Dessert; a smoked pineapple accompanied by cool ylang ylang sorbet and a velvety coconut mousse (£10.75).
A sample of the Virgin Island Water fragrance will also be offered to diners, along with a complimentary fragrance consultation. The Virgin Island Paradise cocktail and White Bay Dessert will be served at 34 Mayfair from Monday 31st July until Sunday 10th September.
Speaking of clinking glasses, in October, you can raise one to ‘Widow,’ the third edition of The Veuve Clicquot Widow Series, an event paying homage to the house of Madame Clicquot.
Madame Clicquot famously revolutionised ‘fizzy wine’ and took the Clicquot brand to success after becoming the director of her late husband’s business in 1805. The French entrepreneur’s innovations led to the thriving champagne industry that we know and love today.
‘Widow’, the English translation of Veuve, is the third instalment in the series honouring Madame Clicquot, and it is being curated by fashion icon, Carine Roitfeld, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris. It will be taking on a Halloween theme and will focus on the celebration of self-expression through creativity.
The Widow Series will premier with a VIP party on October 19th, 2017 after which tickets will become available to the public.
