Timing coincides an exclusive, one-month preview of the new BYREDO scent, Rose of No Man’s Land. Liberty was the first retail partner for BYREDO in the UK. The brand debuted in the Liberty Beauty Hall in summer of 2009. This new counter is designed by BYREDO founder and creative director Ben Gorham, with Swedish architect and designer Christian Halleröd. It emulates the brand’s recently opened New York flagship on Wooster Street in SoHo and features consistent design elements including custom Italian terrazzo and traditional woodwork. Capturing BYREDO’s exacting design principles, shelves, display trays and counters are made of polished aluminum, with the walls and fixtures clad in terrazzo . As chic clean and minimal, this is the bringing together of the brand identity which is totally reflective of its ethos.

This beautifully delicate fragrance pays tribute to hundreds of nurses who helped save thousands of lives on the front line of World War One. -Often referred to by soldiers as ‘Rose of No Man’s Land’
With pink peppercorn, turkish rose petals, papyrus wood and white amber these fragrance and ingredients do nothing but enlighten who Byredo are and what the their scent stands for, and of course Ben Gorham himself.
