Bold: Goldsmiths BA Degree Show
By Pascal Ebner
.Cent Magazine was invited to the 2013 Degree Shows of Goldsmiths University and made sure to catch a glimpse of all the diverse projects presented. From 14-17 June the art and the media department presented the work of all 3rd year students, who were able to display their work in amazing locations – such as the St. James Church, which serves as an exhibition room for the art students at Goldsmiths.
The media department presented a wide range of multimedia works, such as animation, interactive media, photography, illustration and even radio shows. The New Academic Building, built in 2010 and thus the newest addition on campus, offered visitors to explore three floors of creativity.
The art and fine art degree students showcased their work in the modern Ben Pimlott Building and the St. James Church. By separating all rooms, visitors had a chance to look through each project individually. Even interactive art, which allowed us to step in ourselves, made the event even more interesting.
Till the end of august, interested parties or future students can check out the MA shows – starting with the MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy graduate show on 20 June. Guests will be provided with free drinks and helpful graduates to guide through the event.
