It’s the holiday season; the air is crisp and cold and the snow has arrived. It’s the time of year for seeing loved ones, gifting, and the odd drink or three. We also do love to dress up and put on our best outfits including a great pair of heels or a soft leather-soled shoe. But be careful out there with much merriment and slippery shoes don’t get caught out carrying all those gifts whilst a bit ‘sqiffie’ and slip on the ice, therefore, dropping all those divine presents. The sea breeze carried with it the heady, spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son has the delicateness and persistence of a memory from a childhood in Indochina. The black boot at the front is thr Thebe Magugu black bootie from Matches Fashion. These black Sunday best ankle boots are from Thebe Magugu’s first footwear offering and merge influences from loafers, 15th-century crakow shoes and pairs worn by pastors in the designer’s native Johannesburg. The boxed advent calendar is the Sensai The 12 Holiday Gifts a covetable assortment of SENSAI’s best-loved items from skincare, make-up and body care. Inspired by Kirie, the Japanese art of paper-cutting, this limited edition is decorated with scenic motifs unique to Japanese nature and the four seasons.
