Dense: Harrods’ hall of fine fragrance to shake up retail
By Jo Phillips
A unique new shopping concept is to emerge; thanks to the hotly anticipated launch of Salon de Parfums within luxe shopping store Harrods. Comprising some 5,090 sq ft, the new retail design means the Salon will house only the finest and rarest of scents – perfect for those discerning luxury fragrance lovers.
A separate fragrance gallery will stock a selection of world exclusive brands such as Thomas Kosmala, Dolce & Gabbana’s Velvet Collection and Bond No. 9’s Harrods collection, whilst an area for customisation and creating bespoke editions of perfumes has been created within the space.
Not only that, but 11 of the world’s leading fragrance firms will have their own dedicated boutique areas for noses to browse, such as Bond No. 9, By Kilian, CHANEL, Clive Christian, Creed, Dior, Guerlain, Henry Jacques, Roja Dove, Tom Ford and Xerjoff.
Harrods’ head of beauty Mia Collins told us that the “Salon will be decorated in soft grey and warm neutrals to complement the sophistication of the fine fragrances within the new immersive fragrance experience.”
We cannot wait to get into the thick of it.
