“Con il cuore in una mano e l’arco nell’altra” (“With my heart in one hand and a bow in the other”), the installation and performance designed by SAGG Napoli for Dior’s SS25 ready-to-wear scenography show. Consisting of a grouping of texts built into and onto a 70-meter glass and metal structure.
The texts throughout the installation read : ‘How can I tell you it’s urgent if I don’t show you how personal it is?’ ; ‘May the building of a strong mind and a strong body be the greatest work I have ever made.’ ; ‘I don’t know if I’ve ever shined, but I have resisted.’ ; ‘Avoid to Avoid.’ ; ‘I’m pouring my heart on a shooting Instrumental.’ ; ‘Calm, Courageous, Consistent.’ ; ‘I get obsessed looking at the way people move when they’re doing something they’re really good at.’.

‘For centuries the image of the woman with a bow has always been connected to a warrior woman. The bow was a weapon. I don’t want to play into that image. Why would I want to be a warrior? What if the “enemy” isn’t someone I can or want to defeat physically? (…) Rather, the enemy is a set of values and distractions that do not allow me to be the best version of myself’.

Maria Grazia Chiuri’s vision for the Dior SS25 ready-to-wear collection is to highlight the essence of each garment, giving them a voice to express their creation process. By merging the final pieces with the artistic journey, she aims to reconnect fashion with its roots and explore the relationship between the body and clothing.

Key to this collection is the reinterpretation of archival designs, starting with the ‘Amazone’ dress from Christian Dior’s AW 1951-1952 collection, which evokes a legendary female figure, celebrated for her strength of spirit and serving as a symbol of autonomous, courageous femininity. On the runway, where time stands still in the world of fashion, the collection showcases the strength and assertive power of contemporary femininity.
Carousel Jewels released their AW24 Collection named ‘Julet’. This collection is lovingly named after Sally’s (founder of the brand) maternal grandmother. Inspired by some of Julet’s favorite jewelry and their shared love for color, the collection features stunning pieces that her grandmother would have adored and that she hopes her daughter will cherish in the years to come. Julet embodies femininity and individuality, appealing to those who appreciate creativity, luxury, craftsmanship, and the intergenerational connections that unite us.
Roberto Cavalli unveils the new Roar Bag as part of the Fall Winter 2024-25 Collection. The latest iteration of the Roar Bag, a standout accessory from the Maison, reimagined for the season. Originally launched in the Roberto Cavalli Zero collection by Fausto Puglisi, the Roar Bag returns in a hobo style, featuring its signature bold design and luxurious materials. This new version highlights two exquisite tiger heads, symbols of strength and courage, elegantly gracing both ends of the handle. Alongside other models in the collection, the hobo Roar Bag is a distinct and memorable accessory destined to become a timeless icon.
Femininity and emotions are complex, wild, and rich with dazzling contradictions that lend them their unique strength—much like gemstones that play with both light and shadow. MACH & MACH’s SS25 collection is shaped by a distinctive, liberated vision that embraces modernist romanticism, surprise, and unconventionality. At Milan Fashion Week, they welcomed their community to immerse themselves in the brand’s whimsical and playful world, a space brimming with freedom and heart-shaped air sculptures that captured the vibrant essence of unbounded emotions and sentiments. MACH & MACH’s collection captivates with its adventurous creative spirit, breaking norms and bending conventions to explore the unexpected through a dynamic interplay of contrasts. Offbeat details and embellishments bring a fresh twist to their signature footwear designs.

Moynat was founded in 1849 as a House specialising in trunk making. Its founder, Pauline Moynat, invented the “English Trunk” in 1873, which became the first trunk coated in gutta-percha, a newly discovered vegetal gum from Indonesia. This innovative waterproof canvas established the house’s reputation for technical excellence. In the early 1900s, Henri Rapin introduced the hand-painted ‘M’ monogram on the trunks, which became an instantly recognisable signature of the brand. The ‘M’ collection is the latest expression of this iconic monogram, merging the house’s traditional heritage with a commitment to contemporary innovation. This dynamic series captures the essence of Moynat’s canvas, emphasizing movement, vibrancy, and color. It embodies a sense of exhilaration, optimism, and freedom that reflects the spirit of the House.

BARRIE launches the Denim Capsule Collection ‘DENIM, BUT MAKE IT CASHMERE’. The clear link between the timeless style and resilience of a denim piece and the brand’s focus on outstanding quality and durability in cashmere is emphasized. Both materials adapt to the wearer’s needs and lifestyle, growing more comfortable and beautiful with time. The BARRIE denim jacket is the House’s most iconic design: a denim-style jacket, knitted entirely in finest cashmere and cotton thread, and created as a trompe-l’œil piece. This idea of an “illusion” piece, using BARRIE’s cashmere knitwear savoir-faire to recreate a classic garment, is a signature of the House.
