June Goes Clear & sheer; Love Delicate and Feminine
By Rebecca McNelly-Tilford
Our theme for June is Clear. Clear: (of a substance) transparent; unclouded “the clear glass of the French windows”. Translating this into the fashion world means exploring the Spring Summer 2024 collections with sheer elements. Look how sheer elements can be a statement, an addition or a subtle detail to complete an outfit. Super feminine and delicate, wear it any way you choose.

Erigo X creates texture through sheer fabrics, creating volume within sleeves and jackets. As well as simply using this sheer detail to showcase details within the garment.

Devereux uses sheer fabric in a simple yet elegant and very wearable way. Using sheer fabrics to make shirts in clean cuts as well as using prints and colour to create a co-ord outfit.
Simone Rocha uses sheer tool in a beautiful way to highlight flowers hidden within the garments, making a statement in a beautiful way.
With an overall colour palette of black, Dior uses texture and volume to create interesting looks that shape into beautiful garments of skirts, dresses and jackets.
Acne plays with pattern in sheer materials. Using patterned fabrics, adding volume and detail with 3D elements on garments.
CFCL uses sheer elements to extend the garments, these details take a back seat allowing the rest of the garment to speak for itself.
