London Collections: Men – What’s Next?
By Jo Phillips
The bi-annual showcase London Collections: Men will be returning in January to showcase some of the country’s finest emerging and established brands and designers. As always, the .Cent team will be on hand to report live from the shows and presentations that start on January 6th so as soon as the holidays are over we’ll be propelled full-force into the fashion stratosphere where London will be abuzz with all things menswear. We’ve had a quick look at a couple of our favourite shows from this season AW13 and next season SS14 in anticipation of what to expect for Autumn/Winter 14 – even though we’ve barely had a moment to get used to the current Winter.
Below are eight highlights – four of the more up-and-coming or edgier designers and four of the more classic or established brands – with a key look from both their AW13 and SS14 collections. Big British brands including Burberry Prorsum and Alexander McQueen have returned to London soil to showcase their collections which spells out great success for the city and we’re certainly looking forward to seeing what they and the rest of the LC:M agenda have to present in the New Year.
