Tiwani Contemporary participates in London Gallery Weekend with a solo exhibition by Heloisa Hariadne, showcasing paintings that delve into memories and intimacy. The exhibition “In Focus: Heloisa Hariadne” marks the Brazilian artist’s first solo presentation in the UK, and visitors will have the opportunity to explore her botanical and philosophical visual language from May 30th to June 15th, 2024.

Hales London presents “Of Silence and Slow Time,” a solo exhibition by Carole Gibbons, highlighting her still life paintings spanning a ten-year period from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. Following Gibbons’ participation in the “Women in Revolt! Art and Activism in the UK 1970-1990” exhibition at Tate Britain, this exhibition will be on view throughout the summer.

In Kensington and Chelsea, Art Week presents its seventh annual Public Art Trail, on display throughout the summer from June to August. This year, the Art Trail will be the largest to date, featuring twenty-five sculptures spread across nine zones throughout the borough. Renowned artists such as Yoni Alter, Gillie & Marc, Charlotte Colbert, and Julian Wild participate in this unmissable event on London’s summer cultural calendar.
For one night only, The Perimeter will remain open until 8pm on Friday, May 31st, 2024, presenting a special exhibition of Andy Holden’s film “Laws of Motion in a Cartoon Landscape.” This hour-long exploration proposes that the world is best understood as a cartoon. London Gallery Weekend promises a vibrant array of exhibitions and events across the city, celebrating contemporary art in its many forms. Like Jacqueline de Jong at Pippy Houldsworth Gallery Pippy Houldsworth Gallery will present “La petite mort,” a solo exhibition featuring new and rarely seen works by Jacqueline de Jong. This exhibition showcases de Jong’s dynamic painting approach, capturing personal and political themes. Her new works explore ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, emphasizing the refugee crises and human brutality, themes she has interrogated throughout her career.

Victoria Miro presents exhibitions by Boscoe and Geoffrey Holder, showcasing their painting talents alongside their achievements in theatre, dance, and film. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, the brothers gained international acclaim in the UK and the US. Geoffrey’s works from New York, spanning the late 1970s to the 2000s, range from domestic scenes to vibrant nightclubs, highlighting his masterful use of color. Boscoe’s 1990s paintings focus on the male nude, a significant yet rarely seen part of his work. These exhibitions explore the unique yet interconnected artistic journeys of the Holder brothers.
