Lush is a brand known for its natural, handmade skincare and beauty products. Since its inception in 1995, Lush has always had eco-friendliness and sustainability at its core, insisting on the use of fresh, organic raw materials and never testing on animals.
You may have also noticed that many Lush products are ‘naked’, meaning they minimise unnecessary plastic and packaging waste. Let’s take a deeper look at their Knot Wraps – not just for gift wrapping, but the perfect combination of eco-friendly and art.
Unlike disposable gift wrapping paper, Knot Wraps are reusable and each piece of fabric is full of character and art. And, if you want a new pattern, simply bring your old Knot Wrap back to the Lush shop and exchange it for a new design at half price. Isn’t the combination of eco-friendly and fashionable Knot Wraps more appealing than disposable wrapping paper? But there is even more good news too.
What’s even more special is that Lush’s Knot Wraps aren’t just an eco-friendly choice – there’s a moving story behind them – Lush has teamed up with ARTHOUSE Unlimited, a charity that helps adult artists with learning and physical disabilities showcase their talents.

Each Knot Wrap design is the result of these artists expressing themselves and showcasing their individuality through their creations.
Every time you choose a Knot Wrap, you are not only getting a unique piece of art, but you are also providing these artists with financial support and the opportunity to thrive. Do you realise that such a simple choice can have such a profound impact on them?

Imagine when you give a carefully selected gift to a friend or family member, the packaging itself carries the dreams and efforts of an artist. Would you like to help them gain more opportunities and recognition through such a small gesture?
With Lush’s Knot Wraps, your gift wrapping is no longer just wrapping paper, but an act of contributing to social justice and artistic empowerment.

What’s more, Lush is currently working with ten other artist groups to showcase their work in the Gift and Knot Wrap series. These groups include Venture Arts, Blue Room, Intoart, Project Ability, Artbox, Downs Town Project (formerly Atelier Element Present), Fresh Talent, and Rocket Artists.
Through this connection, Lush embodies eco-friendly packaging while showcasing each artist’s unique creativity, giving every piece a profound social value.
Furthermore, Knot Wraps are more than just packaging. You can use them as hair ties, scarves, and even home decor. Have you ever thought that a simple piece of fabric can have so many uses?
Every time you use it, you’re doing less damage to the environment and the creative possibilities are endless. Perhaps the next time you give a gift, you can share the story behind it so that the recipient can feel the special touch too!
Lush has always supported animal rights and environmental protection in a practical way, and one of the most special ways is through charitable products. Their watermelon slice soap, for example, is not only a hit in shops and online, but also donates all profits to children’s mental health services in Palestine.
This year, Lush will also be launching a series of ‘Keystone Products’ inspired by keystone species that are vital to the ecosystem. Each product will raise funds for conservation projects around the world, continuing the push to protect the environment.
As well as demonstrating their commitment to society and the environment through their charitable products, Lush’s fragrance collection is also full of stories and meaning.
They have a premium collection of fragrances that are as good as any of the niche brands you find out there. With real perfume ingredients as well as the best synthetics to bring maximum lasting power and beautiful scents to the fore.
There are three new special fragrances in the Lush Perfume Library that add a unique style to the collection, handcrafted by the brand’s Chief Perfumer, Emma Vincent.
These fragrances are not simply perfumed, but are based on Emma’s real-life experiences in the field as she explored the sources of Lush’s ingredients – the people she met, the events she participated in, and the natural scents she smelled on her travels.
Abiba refers to the women Emma met when she travelled to Gnna and was inspired by their stories of supporting families and communities through their work with Shea.
The resilience and warmth of these women’s stories come together in a fragrance that captures the resilience and warmth of these women, with spicy, woody and soft floral notes intertwined to create a warm and empowering olfactory experience.
On a trip to India to examine Lush’s raw materials, perfumer Emma immersed herself in the flavours and culture of the region. She and her guide savoured traditional betel leaves with betel nut, lime and other ingredients, an experience that is etched in her memory.
A subtle blend of the spicy betel leaf, the freshness of green mango and the aroma of jasmine, coriander and other common local botanicals recreate her gustatory memories from her travels in India. The final result is a fragrance that is resinous, floral and aromatic.
Inspired by travels in Hungary, the distinctive herbal sweetness of Chamomile Blue has inspired her.
Fennel and oregano add layers of aromatic and slightly spicy notes for those who enjoy distinctive fragrances. The fragrance has a distinctive blue note, thanks to its high content of Blue Wormwood essential oil, providing you with a mesmerising sensation.
Would you like to contribute to the community and the planet in this way? Lush has always been committed to sustainability in every detail, from reducing waste from disposable packaging to supporting the creativity of artists with disabilities. And every choice you make is an important step in driving this change!
Meanwhile, Lush has three new fragrances for you, each filled with exotic flavours and unique stories. Why not pick your favourite fragrance and add even more personality and eco-spirit to it with the story-filled Knot Wrap? Make your gift even more beautiful and meaningful.
