London-based publisher Thames & Hudson just announced the upcoming release of “Adjaye. Architecture. Africa.” in August 2016 by British architect David Adjaye. Finding inspiration in his African heritage, Adjaye’s goals is to put African architecture’s back in the spotlight after being mostly under-documented for the past decades. Each of the 54 metropolis that Adjaye chose is presented with a concise urban history, maps and satellite along with dozens of photographs to illustrate this new compact edition.
