Opposites: Lovegold, Hate AIDS

This will be the second year  that Carine Roitfeld will curate a fashion show for the Cinema against AIDS gala in Cannes. The main aim again, aside from using her creative vision to produce an opulent and glamorous show is raising money for amfAR. Last year the runway show raised nearly $11 million and this year Roitfeld will have over 40 top models including Karlie Kloss and Lily Donaldson walking the runway in custom-made gowns by the likes of Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford.  There will also be exclusive one off designs by accessories designers including Pamela Love.

A taster of the designs have been provided by artist Lula who has produced the exquisitely beautiful illustrations in this article.
