Light Blue Italian Love is a different edition from Light Blue but is still a masterpiece by the best perfumers. The pour femme scent is the work of the renowned ‘nose’ (describes a perfume artist that is capable of portraying emotions, concepts, and moods through fragrance composition) Olivier Cresp. This eau de toilette has an addictive duo of Granny Smith apple and tangy Calabrian lemon. This feminine fragrance has jasmine, pure white rose and to make it more sensual, a new sweet, floral musky note of ambrette. This gives a whoosh of freshness at the top soft florals in the middle moving into the warmth of amber in the base and a sexy finish. Think of those days of the season starting off a little cool and fresh moving in to hot hot hot.
The Light Blue Italian Love for men took inspiration from the original but this one was crafted by Shyamala Maisondieu, an international perfumer who has worked with some brands and also celebrities. This scent embodies a new, intensely masculine heart with its sparkling citruses. Intriguing sensuality and a new fresh feeling is what this perfume is all about. With distinct notes of bergamot, grapefruit, cashmere woods and vetiver joined with the mysterious notes of patchouli. Making this an explosion of citrus that then dips into watery aquatic freshness and then settles into woody, grassy and earthy tones. Again, fresh and bright falling into skin-like warmth.
Light Blue pour homme was the original by the genius that is Alberto Morillas. The original pour femme was a work by the amazing Olivier Cresp. So this duo has been working on some wonderful perfumes for D&G. These are some of the best perfumers that have more than 200 notable creations on various brands.
The Light Blue Italian Love for him and her bottles complement each other embellished with shiny silver accents while revealing a more intense blue of the fragrance within to reflect the sea surrounding Capri in Italy. Still referencing to Capri and the iconic parasols, deck chairs and beach huts, the bottles come in a box design with white stripes and a joyful blue.
In everything they do Dolce & Gabbana portrays and transmits the spirit of Italian culture. From their clothing lines to their perfumes, even their image is a clear picture of Italy. Dolce & Gabbana launched their first fragrance in 1992 and now has more than 100 perfumes in their scents base. The brand has worked with some of the most luminaire perfumers such as Olivier Cresp, Alberto Morillas. But also, Olivier Pescheux, Nathalie Lorson, Olivier Polge and Christine Nagel.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Italian Love will be available on the 1st of April 2022. To find out more go to Dolce & Gabbana.
