Did you watch the film reservoir dogs for the first time and feel blown away? For many, it was an introduction not just to a seemingly new genre but a whole new style of directing. Receiving rave reviews when it first aired in cinemas it introduced the world to the film-maker, Quentin Tarantino the American film director, screenwriter, producer, film critic, and actor.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, black humour, large amounts of violence, extended yet natural dialogue, with many references to Popular Culture that literally ‘burst’ off the screen. Also, don’t forget his incredible use of music often digging up forgotten gems for his soundtracks.
Maybe you started your journey with him with a later film and maybe you are not aware of quite how much work he has created since 1992 (the year Reservoir Dogs came out) but here is a great opportunity to catch up or find films you never knew about before by this master.
