This is an album that dominated following its release in 2013 with the music paying tribute to the music from the 70s and 80s, which is also reflected in the packaging. It is also the duo’s richest-sounding record and sounds especially good on a turntable.

Any Winehouse: Back to Black

Amy Whitehouse’s legendary voice needs to be heard on vinyl to hear its real power and Back to Black’s jazz-based sound makes this a fantastic record to own. This album contains many of the late singer’s most popular songs, including “Rehab”, “Love is a Losing Game” and “Tears Dry on Their Own”.

Metallica: Black Album

Metallica has enjoyed a resurgence in recent times and found a much younger audience as a result of the song “Master of Puppets” appearing on Stranger Things. It is the iconic Black Album that sounds best on vinyl, though, with the 2021 reissue showcasing their legendary heavy sound particularly on “Enter Sandman” and “The Unforgiven”.
