OMEGA watches have been synonymous with luxury for decades. The brand’s 175-year commitment to exceptional precision has seen OMEGA timepieces used in outer space, under the sea, and at the Olympic Games, an extraordinary legacy that adds unique value to the contemporary collection. When you also consider the outstanding design and remarkable functionality of each model, it is clear why the latest luxury watches by OMEGA are some of the most coveted accessories available.
Use this guide to explore the current collections by OMEGA and find the best timepiece for you. From uber-sleek styles to designs dedicated to diving, there is an OMEGA watch for everyone.
OMEGA Speedmaster
The OMEGA Speedmaster is arguably the most iconic model ever created by the watchmaker. Launched in 1957, the Speedmaster was entrusted by NASA for use on its piloted missions in 1965, finally making it to the moon on the wrist of Buzz Aldrin in July 1969. This earned the OMEGA Speedmaster the nickname ‘Moonwatch’ that has endured to this day.
The latest edition of this model is the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional, an updated version of the watch worn by the Apollo 11 astronauts. Selenophiles will adore the Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 edition for its intricate ash-coloured face and skeletonised dial that depict the lunar surface. Those with traditional taste will love the Speedmaster ’57, a vintage-style model that is beloved by OMEGA ambassador George Clooney.
OMEGA Seamaster
Years before OMEGA started looking skywards, the watchmaker was developing timepieces for use underwater. Using expertise acquired during WWII, in 1948 the OMEGA Seamaster was born. With a strong case, long hands, and water resistance, this was the model that led to OMEGA being pioneers in dive watch technology.
The Aqua Terra 150m is the newest Seamaster from OMEGA. You would never guess that this elegant model is water resistant up to 150 metres: a particularly special aspect of the design is the sapphire-crystal caseback through which you can view the incredible OMEGA Master Chronometer calibre. OMEGA also has an Ultra Deep range for extreme underwater excursions including the Planet Ocean 6000M that is water resistant up to an astonishing 6,000 metres.
OMEGA De Ville
For those seeking sensational style, look no further than the OMEGA De Ville. This luxury timepiece makes use of precious materials to enhance its appearance and is sure to be an eye-catching addition to your outfits. As the name suggests, the OMEGA De Ville collection is perfect for everyday wear when you’re out on the town.
Take, for example, the Prestige models such as the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Power Reserve 41mm. These watches have an unusually slim profile for refined elegance, with gold and diamond detailing for an utter luxe touch.
OMEGA Constellation
Perhaps even more eye-catching is the OMEGA Constellation collection. Characterised by the unique star symbol added to every dial, these watches were designed with contemporary beauty in mind. The Globemaster edition set new standards of watchmaking as the world’s first Master Chronometer.
The ladies’ Constellation series is particularly popular due to its ultra-feminine and unapologetically lavish look. The Constellation Manhattan collection includes models with an 18ct gold and diamond-encircled watch face, supported by an intricate metal bracelet or narrow leather strap.
