One in a lifetime comes a talent so precocious, so divine, so eloquent, one that stands out as a true rebel, a true genius and one that changes the creative world forever. The latest to enter this London-based arena is named Raymond Novak. A fusion of broken London and flirtatious Paris steeped in a world of Polari; an anarchist of fashion in the truest sense of the word. Novak is an antidote to much of the artifice of the modern runway, and will forever change how we regard this art form which is clothing in its most exclusive language. Backstage, Novak wears full-eek pancake, innumerable beauty morsos, gross red liberty bonnet, gold-worked tropical tuxedo, sharkskin bell-bottoms and go-go stampers. He nellies the mistress-of-ceremonies clear her gargler in the auditorium next-bor as he attaches his ear-fakes.
Cowering under the kitchen sink, Novak wears an omi-sized omo box, gendarme goggles and a colander atop his tet.
Novak wears full-eek rubble dust, Battenberg-drogue, gendarme goggles, sabots and piggy-tails.
Novak wears a monocle, black frock coat with blank tux-dicky and grey lally covers. A fleur in his buttonhole, a dazzling silk hat and patent leather booties complete the effect.
Novak wears geisha maquiage, cherry-blossom kimono, shimada-shyka and getas.
Novak wears ethanol profumo, dishdasha, sandals and a fez atop his baldy tet.
