From Morning into Night: The Perfect Powerful Perfumes

Even on a cold winter’s day the brightness of a blooming sun kisses our soul. It lets us know, yup everything will be ok. On a midsummer‘s day, however, when the sun shines brightly, it reminds us that there is a wonderfully brilliant world out there to discover. It says, get up, go out and explore and be a free spirit

It is exactly this spirit that Lalique explored in 2019 when they brought the Soleil Lalique perfume to market. Dedicated to women who shine as one with the world around them. The dazzling light of fruit and spices and a zesty start to a beautiful morning.

Of course, it opens up with bright hot sunny fruit and spice with Mandarin Orange, Bitter Almond and Cardamom, following on is a heart of delicious notes including Pear, Milk, Candied Almond, Caramel, Coffee and Jasmine. Its finale brings with it a hug of sweet warmth with Praline, White Musk and Sandalwood.

Soleil was developed by perfumers Alexandra Monet, Barbara Zoebelein and Benoist Lapouza and sits perfectly in the world of gourmand compositions.; Golden as the sun with a caress of flowers alongside its sweet and tasty notes.

So successful was this sunshine in a bottle that the house added a second sunshine-inspired scent Soleil Vibrant Lalique in 2022.

Again a vibrant opening of fruits and hot spice. Clementine, Pear, Ginger and Bergamot are lively yet succulent. As a nod to its elder sister it falls into a floral heart Orange Blossom, Jasmine Sambac with more spice this time the ‘bright-redness’ of Saffron. Rounded off with a soft woody boozy hug of Bourbon Vanilla, Dreamwood and Cedar.

So with the facets of morning sunlight, and afternoon glow now comes an evening interpretation to the collection. The third instalment is Soleil Lunar

This elixir is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women launched only this year and was created by Nathalie Lorson and Alexandra Monet again.

This fragrance is a meeting of where the energy of the sun fades but invites in the solar energy of the moon, the meeting of light and dark is just as energised; a chiaroscuro scent if you like. From yellow dating through to dark magenta, that moment forbore the stars come out.

Then the brightness of an evening sky, lit with bright jewels, so is this fragrance littered with the brightest notes to open. The fresh, floral, and slightly sweet, creamy richness of the Magnolia flower known to have a soft citrus side, sits in harmony with Mandarin Orange with its sweet, fruity and citrusy notes and its hint of light floral undertones, meaning both gel perfectly and both partner in a top finale with and soft spice of Pink Pepper.

The heart is a collection of floral majesty with Lady of the Night Flower, with her Jasmine sweet citrus and gardenia-like allure, alongside the sweet, floral scent with a vanilla-like creaminess, and a hint of almond, wood, and spice from Heliotrope and the enveloping warmth and musky, slightly animalic, slightly fruity scent of Ambrette all coalesce.

The darker elements hold the night together in this base of Musk, green yet earthy, and woody scent of Moss melding in a finale of ambery, sweet-earthy, minerally Ambergris.

The latest bottle for this new flacon echoes its sisters of the other scents. Crystally-sparkling, a 1902’s-esque soft-edged star. Hombre jewel tones transition from golden amber, evoking the soft light of morning, to an enigmatic purple, reminiscent of the evening’s final bow. Added detail the bottle comes adorned with an elegant chain in shades of gold, with a sun inside a moon motif.

This new feminine fragrance is a tribute to celestial beauty, combining stellar inspiration with scented artistry. Its fusion of notes reminds us to be free, to celebrate, to dance through the star-filled light should our hearts desire it.

So now there is a scent clearly created and fashioned for the morning until night, each flacon bringing a different emotion to explore via a bottled elixir.
