Duckie Brown
By Jo Phillips
Daniel Silver, the designer behind Duckie Brown, found inspiration from his university days in Manchester for his latest collection. The collection was made up of bucket hats, baggy trousers, sneakers, plaid, polyester, and classic outerwear. The clothes, which looked traditional from afar, were quirky in the Duckie Brown sense. ”There’s a slight oddness to the collection,” said Silver. Outwear was the strongest element as there were bomber jackets, trench coats, and Harrington jackets. The choice of fabric and color was interesting, as the collection had hints of shimmery pearls, camel plaid prints, and glistening blues.
