Bruce Lader
By Jo Phillips
Bruce Lader is a poet based in North Carolina.
Bruce is featured in .Cent’s Breaking Boundaries newsletter in April 2013, which took inspiration from Rado‘s D-Star 200 – a sporty diving-inspired watch designed to navigate contemporary lifestyles. For the newsletter, .Cent asks him ‘how have you evolved in the creactive process to get to his current output?”
He explains, ‘My current creative process has evolved from organising writers groups where we critique our work and discuss the directions we would like to go in the future. I’m never satisfied with what I’ve written in the past and always stretch beyond my comfort zone. The 2006 Chautauqua Writers Workshop instructed by Stephen Dunn, and membership in the North Carolina Poetry Society, have also helped further my development as a poet. This international poetry prize interview includes a description of my creative process.’
