News: New York New York

As we all know, Fashion Week has nearly finished in New York and it will soon be London’s time to shine. So in awe of New York City, we thought we would provide you with a few things that we know you will love.

The magic of New York City has inspired musician, Lang Lang, on his new album New York Rhapsody which includes the likes of Andra Day, Herbie Hancock, Lisa Fischer and many more brilliant special guests. Lang Lang recently said that:

  “This city has changed the course of music more than any other in the last hundred years. It has inspired and enriched me beyond words and has become my home away from home.”

The album will be available from the 16th of Sept and has been released by Sony Classical. You can find out more information about Lang Lang here.

As we all know there is a craze for colouring books at the moment, and these puzzle-trail adventure books are our new favourites. On the right hand side is the Around-The-World Colouring Book written by Clive Gifford and illustrated by William Ings, you can find great illustrations major cities including New York! There are also a couple of interesting Did You Know’s thrown in there for a bit of extra fun. The book on the left is not related to New York City but we couldn’t resist adding it in! The Time Traveller Colouring Book is written by Penny Worms and illustrated by William Ings.
