Knitwear is a timeless, ageless classic trend for Autumn/ Winter. As much as a classic fashion it can be manipulated to be trend-driven. AW21 reinvents styles and manipulates the textile. Light tonal colours, in relaxed styles, that softly hug the body, create layers with a gentle sexiness.
A great example of how flexible knitwear can be layered oversized and textured.
Menswear can show off knitwear just as well as womenswear, here see the structure with the added detailing of motifs and zips.
Gentle length in knitwear sees here with pattern texture and applique.
We don’t often think graphic when we think knitwear but here we enjoy bold stripes and graphic patterns.
Colour is everything from marl effects to blocks of brights bold colours.
Here knitwear is used to highlight drama from the colours chosen to the patterns used.
Texture meets knitted patterns as a way to explore the body.
Lastly here the knitwear is used mixed with texture and print.
