For many, a winter garden replete with green furs and Christmas icy snow sums up the holiday experience. We know for some it’s a barbecue on the beach but for most of us experience cold or cool weather during this holiday period. So when we think of snow, we think of the scent of the fireside, the fresh green shrubs and trees and even the scent of holly and mistletoe. For this Holiday season, the hotel Corinthia London and scent company Acqua di Parma have partnered to create “THE ALPINE WINTER GARDEN”, a multisensory winter Schloss.

Guests are greeted at Corinthia London by a bespoke gold Christmas tree by renowned florist McQueens, surrounded by red and gold presents, and miniature Picea trees. This theme continues through all areas of the hotel with Nutcrackers figurines, lush garlands, bespoke baubles, and festive Terrarium lining the corridors, colonnade and restaurants.

Acqua di Parma’s new collection of Holiday season candles and diffusers line the hotel and Alpine Winter Garden, their new Bosco, Panettone and Magia del Camino candles and diffusers having been inspired by contemporary yet authentic interpretations of festive Italian moments.

The Menu in the Alpine Winter Garden is made up of tasty Winter classics from the Alps such as Baked Spätzle with Wild Mushroom, Cream & Aged Comté, Warm Raclette with New Potatoes & Winter, Pickles, Alpine Charcuterie Selection Wild Boar, Speck, Salami, Remoulade and Pickles, followed by a showstopper Kaiserschmarrn with Cherry Compote. Hot cocktails include Italian classics such as Bombardino, as well as a Winter Negroni and Espresso Italiano.
