The ‘it’ bag of the season is key to any luxury house, but not at the cost of its own DNA. New for the Spring/Summer 2023 women’s pre-collection, The Slash bag carries many of the signatures the house is known for and features the iconic McQueen Knuckle hardware and skull motif. Crafted in padded leather, the sharply cut, slashed body is inspired by the house’s sliced and slashed tailoring.

Available in primary colours of red, black and white the oblong comes with slash lines and a sharp elegant silhouette. complete with a heavy silver chain to sit neatly on a shoulder.

The campaign put together to explore this new shape is a juxtaposition between humanity and technology, defining the Alexander McQueen campaign for The Slash bag. Where the future unites with the present. Where emotion links with blank expression.

Featuring Kaia Gerber, the model and actress daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and she is directed by Glen Luchford. The campaign explores human emotion within a futuristic landscape and comes with amazing still and movie images.
