Even though Bvlgari was established in Rome in 1884 it was born of a talented Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, Initially known for their exquisite jewellery, with distinctive style made-up of vibrant colour combinations, exquisitely balanced volumes and unmistakable motifs that pay homage to the Roman roots of the company. In 2017 Bvlgari launched the Splendida Collection with three fragrances Iris d’Or a light and solar scent; Rose Rose which pay tribute to the queen of all flowers, and Jasmin Noir an elegant oriental floral; Later they added Splendida Magnolia Sensuel which is generous and feminine; and Tubereuse Mystique, which captures the desire inherent in tuberose.

In 2020 Splendida Collection continues its journey with the introduction of the dazzling new Eau de Parfum Patchouli Tentation; seductive and carnal, it’s a deeply addictive new fragrance that embodies a single emotion. A sublime temptation alongside paying tribute to the power, grace, and sensuality of women. Patchouli Tentation will be launched on 1st April at Harvey Nichols.

The breakdown of notes is what builds the scent to its crescendo and starts at the Top with rich incense earthy Patchouli and White Peach for a burst of bright fruit.

Next comes more Pacthoui here its intense aroma, a combination of musk and earthiness, that’s also a little mild and sweet meets delicate powdery Orris. Whilst its soul in the very base is even more patchouli this time the leaf with more softness from white musk

The perfume ultimately finishes like the most gentle kiss on the soft hand of a young princess. It’s a gentle warm love that wraps around you yet it’s strong enough for the noblest of birthrights.
