Hamburg-born and based Joachim Sperl is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. He makes humorous and colourful illustrations. Joachim wants to drink more tea instead of coffee in the future.
Featured in the Autumn 2013 edition of .Cent, The Cornucopia Issue, guest-edited by Sebastiaan Bremer, is Joachim’s rendition of Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung’s influence on five of Sebastiaan’s favourite books: Rilke’s On Love and Other Difficulties, Memory Chalet by Tony Judt, White Tiger by Aravind Adiga, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers, and Netherland by Joseph O’Neill.
