Dense, Love on the screen…

Are you a sucker for an intense emotional screen moment, all love and tears? If so why not visit the Southbank over the next three weeks and have a good cry with their screen series of classic love stories.
The series will feature films including classics such as Brief Encounter (15, 22 & 29 August) and The Graduate (27 August); celebrated musicals such as West Side Story (14 August), Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge (20 August) and South Pacific (28 August); Bollywood’s 21st century classic Devdas (21 August); and Sing-a-long-a Grease (16 August) and Sing-a-long-a Dirty Dancing (23 August) complete with on-screen lyrics and a fancy dress competition, both produced by Singalonga Productions Ltd in association with Park Circus.
Audience members are encouraged to dress up as a favourite character from the films and each week-day screening will feature free, themed events in the foyers including opportunities to dance, sing and even make your own cocktails.
