Digital: Into Digital Prints

By Jo Phillips

Digital prints were particularly prominent at New York Fashion Week this Autumn/Winter 2014-15. Here are three designers who really pulled it out of the bag with some fresh and funky digitally-inspired prints:

Custo Barcelona

Custo Barcelona

Custo Barcelona featured both bright and watered-down metallic prints that created a chic and psychedelic feel. A perfect mix of European, eclectic chic, with models topping off the looks with purple tinted sunglasses; the pieces were sophisticated yet edgy.

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera went for an unabashedly bold look with striking colours and graphic prints. The gowns were feminine and powerful. The thigh high splits, asymmetric draping and cinched-in waists were head-turning details that gave the dresses even more character.

Vivienne Tam

A muted take on the digital trend, Vivienne Tam decided to clash the darker prints together to make an impact. This worked like a charm to give an elegant and subtly sexy vibe to the outfits.
