As we all focus on the joys of seasonal gifting isn’t it good to see many brands thinking about sustainability. This means we can give with less guilt. We can purchase lovely items and know that by choosing certain brands we are all just helping that little bit more to keep our beautiful planet safe. After all, is has been said that it’s not about the big gestures by a few but the every day little gestures by all of us that will play a massive help in our efforts towards tackling climate change

Step up perfume brand Ormonde Jayne. The luxury fragrance company know for its sensual and sexy collection of scents has opened two pop up perfume bars in Selfridges (one in manchester and one in London). These two bars will work as personalisation places where customers can get engaged on a far more intimate level with their purchase.

There are 7 new perfumes debuted with 7 new coloured bottle to choose from. So choose your perfume, then choose the concentration, but going one step further and a first for the brand Ormonde Jayne has left this new collection entirely unnamed, so you can invent a name for your own favourite fragrance.  Then choose what colour bottle you want your fragrance in, with colours including hombre apple red, jade green sapphire blue, a rich purple and a couple of soft tones too.

But most exciting is the company has joined the Refill Revolution! Once you have designed and engraved your perfect bottle, it’s yours forever as you will also be able to refill your bottle. They will keep a record of your perfume, and each time you return, they will clean the bottle, remove any contamination and refill, with a 10% discount.   

For the last 20 years, Ormonde Jayne has created original fragrances and is proud to have introduced Oudh and Black Hemlock into the world of perfume when Ormonde Man was launched 15 years ago.

Using only the rarest and premium grade ingredients, the 7 new fragrances will include blackcurrant buds, cashmeran, Persian rose, orris butter, tangelo, rosewood, rhubarb and white wood. As they are purposefully left for the customer to name there is an overview of the scents Head middle and base to start the journey:-

1 Head: blackcurrant, Italian lemon, pear
Heart: rose, jasmine, pink berries
Soul: mineral amber, musk, vetiver

2 Head: bergamot, mandarin, tangelo, rose petals,Heart: lily of the valley, peony, orange blossom, jasmine, Soul: cedarwood, amber, musk

3 Head: blackcurrant buds, lychee, nutmeg, Heart: Persian Rose Soul: musk, Chinese patchouli, incense, Armenian plum

4 Head: black pepper, nutmet, Heart: cedarwood, rhubarb Soul: musk, Indian sandalwood

5 Head: ylang ylang, Italian mandrain, Italian bergamot Heart: rose petals, cashmeran, neroli Soul: moss, dry amber, madagascan vanilla, balsamic accord

6 Head: blackcurrrant buds, milky accord, pink berries Heart: white wood, cashmeran, orris butter, Soul: moss, suede, madagascan vanilla, balsamic accord

7 Head: rum, rosewood, apple Heart: Ceylon cinnamon, tonka beans, Soul: dry amber, musk, guaiacwood, earthy accord
