As a step closer to continuing creative development of British luxury brands, Walpole, the official sector body for British luxury sector celebrated its 2022 selection for its Brands of tomorrow programme on 28 February 2022 at The Ned.

In association with Mishcon de Reya (an independent law firm) and Moneycrop (specialist provider for global payments and currency risk management), Brands of Tomorrow, a unique mentoring programme has been launched. It’s been 15 years to the launch of this programme, Brands of Tomorrow; Walpole continues to support the growth and successes of British luxury brands. While, this year adhering to the emerging consumer needs and demands or ‘trends’, sustainability has been the focal point.

This year, 12 early-stage brands have been selected to undergo a year-long mentoring programme filled with workshops and sharing of expertise knowledge. Luxury promise (a re-sale platform for handbags) and Circle of style (a pre-owned fashion subscription) are cutting-edge in their own creative, authentic ways. While, Petit pli (Garments that grow) and Ocean Bottle (Reusable water bottles with purpose) are pacing towards addressing fashion’s landfill problems and global issue on ocean plastics, respectively.

Other brands, Liha Beauty (natural cosmetics) is focusing on harnessing the power of raw ingredient and slow creation. Decree (Doctor-led Skincare) is centralizing on creating time-poor products with maximum benefits.

Elegant handcrafted products are significant to Savin London’s bespoke bridal and evening wear and Marion Ayonote’s shoes and handbags, are committed to fabricating unique products that have mastered, and Feldspar (Ceramic homeware) creates eccentric and aesthetic homeware, With Nothing Underneath (Women’s shirting), Lauren Dickinson Clarke (Scented candles) and YOLKE (Fashion and homeware) capsulate the inheritance of British luxury via their creations.

The significance of Brands of tomorrow programme is well reflected through the intention of creating a better tomorrow in the British Luxury sector. A design structured to shape the futures of tomorrow, the brands of today.
