Miyo Yoshida

By Jo Phillips

Miyo Yoshida is an artist. Since childhood, she has experienced different cultures and social mechanisms, contrary opinions and paradoxical points of view. Through these experiences, she has learnt not to believe in the absolute values of events or materials. Through her art work, she questions the notion of value by taking common objects that do not hold financial worth for what they are, but for what they represent.
