Move: Quick smart, march your Brows Sunday

By Jo Phillips

Brow Arch

‘Brows up’ ladies and  gents, for tomorrow Sunday 9th March, the annual Brow Arch March will be taking place in London’s Berkeley Square and will take walkers through a lovely route past some of London’s iconic arches including Marble Arch.

Held as a fundraiser in aid of cancer support Charity Look Good Feel Better, the annual march through London adds a bit of fun and awareness to a sombre cause, ending with full faces of glamour thanks to participating beauty brand Benefit’s team of “Arch Angels” who will be on hand at various checkpoints offering beauty ‘touch-ups’ to marchers. LGFB is the only international cancer support charity which offers free services to women and teenagers sufferering from the side effects of cancer.

Or, if you don’t quite fancy marching your socks off this Sunday, then why not pop into one of the many specialist Benefit’s brow bars within Debenhams department stores across the UK and donate a minimum of £5 to the cause? The Brow Bars will be taking part in the campaign until 31 March 2014 so you’ve plenty of time to get those caterpillars preened to a more presentable shape.

A tip for defining and filling in your eyebrows is to add colour; be it eyeshadow, eyebrow pencils, brow gels, eyebrow powder, there is a whole host of products out there. We recommend the range of brow perfectors from Nars. Coming in a range of colours to suit most hair shades, the wax stick formula helps to fill in any gaps as well as create and define that ultra sharp shape you get once you’ve had your brows threaded. These are such a doddle to use, we love them.

To further extend the life of your brows and keep them perfectly groomed, the new Red Sable brow brush from brow guru Shavata is a must for your makeup bag. It’s angled shape allows you to fill, define and enhance your brows in the way that you thought only the experts could. Use it with Shavata’s own range of brow palettes ( a shadow based consistency) or even the fabulous ‘eyebrow cake’ range from Illamasqua.

Brows up peeps.
