Sharp: Celebrations in Beauty

There’s some beauty celebrations to be had this month, with the 20th anniversary of one of our favourite scents, the trail-blazing Premier Figuier, from L’Artisan Parfumeur, and multiple award winning baby brand, Aurelia skincare.

Premier Figuier was the first fine fragrance conceived around the theme of the fig, and to this day remains a unique benchmark against which all other attempts in the industry are measured.  Created by master perfumer Olivia Giacobetti in 1994, whose inspiration for the perfume was from her own childhood memories of enjoying the flavours of her fig tree, the Parisian house has put together a cute birthday message for the scent, collating the favourite and defining memories of Artisan Parfumeur’s staff, partners and consumers and putting into this lovely little video:

So whilst we sing ‘happy birthday’ to Premier Figuier, we give a mighty big round of applause to relative newcomer on the beauty scene – Aurelia Probiotic Skincare.  Just one year old, the natural British brand has gone and won 11 awards during the last month alone! Not bad for a baby.  Especially when you consider it’s a completely natural range so no harsh chemicals or preservatives giving it that competitive edge, but instead using a mix of clever scientific know-how and mother nature’s own wares to provide age preventative skincare to our good selves.

Imagine what this little one will achieve by the time they hit 20!
