Chanel after 19 years of research, they don’t do things lightly, created a skincare collection based on the the power of an extraordinary red Camellia.
The flower so intrinsic to the House is said to be so because it is said to have been a favourite of Mademoiselle Chanel’s lover, Boy Capel. After he died in a car accident in 1919, Chanel wore black for the rest of her life. However, she always wore a white camellia on her lapel as a tribute to Capel. But now the ruby version of this plant takes centre stage.
