Bold: EXIT Festival
By Pascal Ebner
Since its foundation in 2000 the EXIT Festival grew in popularity and is now considered one of the largest festivals in Europe. This year, for the first time, the festival will be held for five days from the 10 – 14 of July and features bands for all kinds of music tastes: David Guetta, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Snoop Dogg, Atoms For Peace, CeeLo Green and numerous other artists and bands join the Serbian music highlight.
In comparison to other European festivals, EXIT is not only concerned about bringing musicians together but also to bring social issues to the forefront. With the motto “Where Hedonism meets Activism” the EXIT Festival aims to promote change and supports several humanitarian missions.
Besides the expansion from 4 to 5 days, the EXIT 2013 will also feature art exhibitions, lectures and public debates with prominent names from around the world. With three gigantic stages at hand EXIT offers a wide range of entertainment and promises with its ever-growing lineup a great opportunity to enjoy music and contribute to several social institutions.
