Christian Lacroix: Au Théâtre Ce Soir
By Jo Phillips
The House of Christian Lacroix, the eponymous French brand known for its exuberant style, its Hispanic and Spanish inspirations, and its innovative touch under the guidance of fashion designer turned costumier Christian Lacroix – the man behind some of the most extravagant, and certainly theatrical, haute couture garments – continues to spread its unique vision this year with the recent release of its collection, Au Théâtre Ce Soir.

Notebooks: In partnership with Galison
Also included in this dynamic range are a selection of notebooks made in partnership with New York-based fine art stationary company, Galison. The line, a clear display of Christian Lacroix’s high fashion sensibility, offers a broad assortment of paseo-embossed or printed items with gold or copper gild and chevron striped ribbon. Featured in the collection is Christian Lacroix’s famous ‘Bagatelle’ print, alongside new takes on classic design, such as the harlequin pattern popularised by 16th century theatre.
Joined in this creative process, Maison Christian Lacroix and Galison have brought together a collection of innovative stationary designs that are, in image as in material, a reflection of both companies ongoing commitment to quality, innovation and excellence. This 2017, these designs are available here.
