In the same way that .Cent likes to innovate and push boundaries, the online shopping platform BENGT has a strong ethos centered around providing clothing and accessories that push boundaries at the forefront of fashion. As a result of their dedication to new and daring designs the BENGT team travels the world, off schedule fashion shows and graduate fashion weeks in search of emerging fashion labels.

They already stock .Cent favourite Eudon Choi and one the most recent designers to join their portfolio is Hellen Van Rees. The Central St Martins graduate uses ethical materials to create fashion forward, statement pieces that are affordable.

The Dutch designer’s use of graphic silicone prints juxtaposed on traditional fabrics such as wool and cotton creates a daring and unique style that sets a statement. By using monochrome colours and simplistic shapes, the contemporary pieces maintain boldness but in a ready to wear collection which enables those who wear it to stand out. Silicone is big for this season and the simple but beautifully designed pieces are ticking lots of our boxes. If pushed to select a favourite piece,  my selection would have to be the monochrome silicone dress which has a black silicone arrow print juxtaposed on white wool and mohair mix.
