Mirror: In The City

Feeling spontaneous? Get involved now with your city by discovering unusual artworks. Check out Olafur Eliasson’s bicycle with mirrored wheels from his Innen Stadt Außen Exhibition- (City: Inside Outside). Eliasson’s work fascinates viewers with the way  he brings the outside cityscape inside and how the viewer becomes an active part of the exhibition. The mirror recurred throughout the Innen Stadt Aussen exhibition and turned insides into outsides and vice versa.

If your not a fan of bicycles then check out the ‘Disco ball Smart Car,’ which was donated to an electro band called Apparatjik for their tour in Berlin. The Discoball Smart Car is a refurbished electric-drive Smart Fortwo composed of thousands of mirror pieces, hand-glued to the car’s exterior and took seven craftsmen three days to complete the project. Amazing!
