Under Natural

We breathe every day, it’s a natural response. It’s automated, we don’t need to think about it. In our noses and out our mouths since we came into the world. Not only do we breathe out of our mouths and noses, but we also breathe through our skin. The most obvious example of this is our underarms. But because of this breathing and sweating under there, this leads to an odour that most people do not like. Deodorant is an essential part of most people’s daily routine and it is a nightmare when you accidentally go a day without it. However, not many people think about the ingredients of this product that they put on their skin every day. Find out more here in Under Natural.

More and more people have been transitioning from their normal antiperspirant to a more natural alternative. The technical difference between the two is the absence of aluminium in the latter. However, the feel-able difference between them is that natural is more breathable.

Aluminium can plug sweat glands in a way that can prevent the natural release of toxins through pores. It is important to maintain a healthy sweat not only to release toxins but also to regulate your body temperature. Because of this fact, deodorant makers have been able to find ingredients in nature that provide the same odour neutralization without harmful components. These natural ingredients in deodorants can still give you a fresh scent while allowing your body to breathe, avoiding the negatives that may come with regular antiperspirants.

When the idea of a natural deodorant first became popular, the products obtained a bad reputation for their lack of effectiveness and limited lasting time. However, as of late, brands have been stepping up their game in hopes of being more health-conscious and ecologically friendly.

If you are considering making the switch to a natural deodorant, it may be daunting. However, there are some tips that may help ease the process. When transitioning, it is important to go without deodorant for a couple of days in between. In the meantime, you could use essential oils instead to maintain a fresh scent. It is also important to know that it can take up to four weeks to fully adjust to the switch, so be patient as your body adjusts.

Think about the products you use the next time you are at the store and consider making the natural switch for a more breathable and fresh feel.
